A Knowledge Community of Scholars
This knowledge community of scholars has a common interest in the complex and subtle relationships between technology and society. The focus is primarily, but not exclusively, in the information and communications technologies. Members that conform this knowledge community are academics, technologists, engineers, ICT consultants, educators, and PhD students. Scholars meet in person every year thanks to the international Congress and formal communication keeps alive thanks to the associated collection of scholarly journals.

International Congress
This knowledge community of scholars is highly international and multicultultural, members come from all over the world. The International Congress on Technology, Science and Society began in Bilbao, Spain, in 2011, then moved to major cities such as Los Angeles (2012), Vancouver (2013), Madrid (2014), and Buenos Aires (2015). This international congress is a place for the formal exchange of best practices and ideas, and welcomes young researchers, postdocs, and graduate students, as well as leading scholars. Those who can not attend the congress may prefer to submit a manuscript for review and possible publication in any of the scholarly journals of the collection.

The Journal Collection
By participating in the Community of Technology, Science and Society, the delegates can submit a manuscript to the associated scholarly journals, which are interdisciplinary, inclusive, and open access. All the journals are double-blind peer reviewed, which enables authors to publish in rigorous academic journals with the highest quality standards.
