This picturesque 19th-century hotel is located in the old town, next to the gardens of the old Turia riverbed, 5 minutes’ walk from Valencia Cathedral and 3 km from the City of Arts and Sciences. The rooms are bright and have traditional furniture, brick walls and exposed wooden beams. All rooms include free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. It is only a 5-minute walk from the congress venue.

City of Arts and Sciences

An example of futuristic architecture signed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, its colossal buildings are home to an IMAX cinema in l’Hemisfèric, the largest aquarium in Europe at the Oceanogràfic, a didactic and interactive exhibition at the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum and the most avant-garde in the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía. In addition, the impressive bridge of Assut de l’Or and the Agora are a gift for the senses.

Museum of Sciences Prince Felipe of Valencia

A building of great proportions ,surrounded by an area of ​​13,500 square meters of water, which houses a multitude of activities and initiatives related to the evolution of life and scientific and technological dissemination. Interactivity distinguishes this museum, which is presented under the motto: “Prohibited not to touch, not feel, not think”, in this way, tit becomes a real instrument of education and reactivation of the critical capacity of the population. Oceanogràfic of Valencia

It is the largest aquarium in Europe, with capacity for 45,000 living beings of 500 different species. In it, represent the main marine ecosystems of the planet. Its avant-garde architecture, the distribution of the different aquariums and its scientific, playful and educational vocation are able to bring the marine world closer to the whole population and to sensitize it on the protection of its fauna and flora, also serving as a platform for scientific research. Oceanogràfic is composed of different buildings, which house representations of the most important ecosystems of each of the seas and oceans of the planet.

Gardens of the Turia (Cabecera Park)

A 9-kilometer garden located on the old Turia river bed, constitutes a veritable green space that crosses the city from west to east until reaching the City of Arts and Sciences. Ride it by bike or by train. In addition it will be essential to make a stop at the Palau de la Música and enjoy the most unique bridges that cross from north to south.

Central Market

Great modernist building whose project dates back to 1914 which currently houses 959 posts. The walls covered with tiles in the lower part, together with the stone, wood and stained glass of colors favor that the light coming from these as well as of the domes and diverse points of the cover bathe the interior, forming a polychrome set in a modernist monument historical.

Barrio del Carmen

The millenary quarter of the city grew between two walls, Muslim and Christian. A walk along its labyrinthine cobbled streets flanked by imposing medieval buildings takes us to other stages of history. Entering the palaces, crossing the medieval doors of the Towers of Quart and the Towers of Serranos, enjoy the impressive frescoes of the Church of San Nicolás and stroll through its most unique corners are itineraries that you should not miss.
