Editorial Policy

The Technology, Science, and Society community publishes books on a wide range of subjects—from general subjects, such as technological innovation and the history and philosophy of science, to specific subjects associated with Bioethics, E-learning, the Collaborative Economy, and the like.

Review Process

The books will be managed by a guest editor or coordinator. As a member of the academic community who has been notable for his/her collaboration with our publisher, this person will review the texts submitted to us to ensure that they are in compliance with the guidelines and will decide whether they are worthy of publication. While Conference participants have the right to submit their texts free of charge, you do not have to participate in the Conference to publish in our books. Those who are not going to participate in the Conference may send us their texts using the form that is available in the How to Publish section.

Open Access

Contents of the books will be available through open access from the moment they are published; in other words, they will be available free of charge to download and to read online. We will assign them a Creative Commons CC-BY-NC-ND license, under which the book may be shared, provided that the original source is indicated; that no derivative works are produced from it; and that it is not used for commercial purposes.
